I’m not entirely sure what this day is about actually (religion?). I only ever hear about it halfway through the day and so ignore it completely. However, pancakes for dinner is an idea. My mum used to do pancakes for dinner occasionally when we were kids and it rocked my world. SUCH a treat!

Shrove Tuesday (known in some countries as Pancake Day) is a day in February or March, preceding Ash Wednesday (the first day of Lent), which is celebrated in some countries by consuming pancakes. This is from Wikipedia under Shrove Tuesday. It is interesting to read. The pancakes for dinner were delicious and everyone enjoyed them!
